After opening the doors of a New York hotel last year just a stone’s throw from SANAA’s New Museum, the Seattle-based hotel group is now packing its bags for Kyoto. Located in the city’s historic district, this new address remains faithful to the luxury-for-all codes that are so central to the Ace ideology. The design is of the highest standard, with the building by Kengo Kuma and the decor inspired by Charlotte Perriand and JB Blunk.

Occupying the 40th to 45th floors of the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, a ultra-skyscraper in the Yaesu 2-Chome North District, the hotel is located in a very central and convenient area at a walking distance to some of the best attractions in town such as the Imperial Palace and the vibrant shopping areas of both Nihombashi and Ginza.
